Woodlawn's permit value shot up 1,658% in September, hitting $75.8 million—most of it tied to new construction and renovation work. The 30 permits included 13 through the express program, seven for new construction, and nine for renovation. 311 requests dropped by nearly a quarter, with tree debris cleanup (47 calls) topping the list. Violent crime fell 18%, down to 110 incidents from 134 the month before. Total crime dipped 5.5%. No new business licenses or closures appeared in city records.
