West Town permit value drops 67% to $8 million
West Town pulled 55 permits in December, down from 90 the month before. Permit value fell even harder—from nearly $24 million to about $8 million, a two-thirds drop. Most of the activity was small-scale: 33 permits came through the express program, which handles quick turnarounds for minor work. A dozen renovation permits and five new construction jobs rounded out the list. No new business licenses showed up in the data, and service requests weren't tracked this month.
