West Ridge logged 1,456 service requests in October, up 2% from September. E-Scooter Parking Complaint was the top category with 111 calls, just ahead of Abandoned Vehicle Complaint at 109. Rodent baiting requests hit 100. Permits dropped 8% to 44, mostly express permits, while total construction value fell 13% to $2.6 million. Violent crime was down a quarter to 77 incidents, and overall crime fell 9% to 295. Seven food establishments failed inspections, up from five the prior month.
