West Ridge rat complaints hit 150, food fails jump
Rodent Baiting/Rat Complaint led West Ridge's 311 requests in July with 150 reports, part of a 12% overall uptick in service calls to 1,815. Food inspection failures more than doubled to 10, up from four the month prior. Crime rose 24% to 305 incidents, with violent offenses up 30% to 95. New businesses included North Kutz Barbershop and Al Barakah Tea & Snacks. Permit count held nearly steady at 30, but total construction value dropped 57% to $633k. Twenty of those permits came through the express program.
