West Pullman permit value doubles to $613k
West Pullman's building permit value more than doubled in October, hitting $613,135 across 39 permits. Most of that activity came through the Express Permit Program, which issued 28 permits for smaller jobs. The neighborhood also saw four demolition permits and five renovation permits. On the 311 side, complaints dropped 23 percent to 895, with garbage cart maintenance leading the way at 97 requests. Tree debris and stray animal calls each topped 60. Crime ticked up 12 percent to 301 incidents, including 96 violent offenses. No new businesses opened or closed during the month.
