West Pullman crime up 19%, weed removal requests dominate 311
West Pullman logged 362 crimes in June, up from 304 the month before—a 19% jump. Violent offenses climbed from 123 to 141. On the service request side, residents filed 1,227 calls, down 21% from May. Weed removal led with 105 requests, followed by 88 for garbage cart fixes and 79 for tree debris. Permits dropped slightly to 27, worth $331k combined. Twenty-four of those were express permits; the rest covered demo, renovation, and elevator work.
