West Lawn permit value jumps to $1.3M despite half the activity
Permits in West Lawn fell from 25 to 13 in November, but their total value shot up 265% to nearly $1.3 million. Ten of those permits came through the express program. Service requests dropped 8% to 620, led by 80 calls about parking code enforcement reviews—whatever those entail. Violent crime ticked up 24% to 36 incidents, even as overall crime fell 11%. No food inspection failures this month, down from eight in October.
