West Englewood pulled 39 permits in September, up from 30 the month before, but total value fell 56% to $849k. Most of the action was express permits (22 filings), with a handful of renovations and demo jobs. Residents filed 1,310 service requests, down a third from August. Garbage cart maintenance led the way with 116 calls, followed by rodent complaints (78) and tree debris (77). Violent crime ticked down 12%, from 151 incidents to 133.
