West Elsdon permits drop to four, half last month's pace
West Elsdon pulled just four permits in November, down from eight the month before, with total declared value sliding to $56,600. Three came through the express-permit program. No new business licenses turned up. Residents filed 367 service requests, down 17% from October, led by 80 graffiti-removal calls and 44 abandoned-vehicle complaints. Crime ticked up slightly—73 incidents versus 71—with violent offenses at 20, up one from the prior month.
