Washington Heights permit value jumps nearly 300%
Permit value in Washington Heights hit $5 million in April, up 293% from March's $1.3 million, even as the number of permits fell slightly from 37 to 33. Most of the activity came through the express permit program—21 of the 33 permits issued. Five sign permits and five renovation jobs rounded out the month. No new businesses opened, none closed, and service requests stayed at zero.
