Uptown permit value doubles on $10.7M spike
Uptown pulled 30 permits in November worth $10.7 million—more than double October's $5.1 million. Most of that was express-program work (18 permits) and renovation jobs. Crime fell 15 percent to 323 incidents, though violent offenses ticked up from 93 to 106. Residents filed 1,035 service requests, led by yard waste pickups (120) and graffiti complaints (112). Two food inspections failed, up from one the month before. No new businesses opened or closed.
