Roseland permit value nearly doubles to $1M
Roseland's permit value jumped 98% in August, hitting just over $1 million despite the same 43 permits issued in July. The Express Permit Program accounted for 34 of those. Service requests dropped 12%, with tree debris cleanup topping the list at 135 calls. Crime ticked down slightly—509 incidents versus 513 the month prior. Violent offenses fell from 162 to 158. Four restaurants failed inspections, up from three.
