O'Hare logged 35,048 service requests in June, up 4.9% from May, and 34,736 of them were aircraft noise complaints. The rest of the top five—cab feedback (58), abandoned vehicles (52), paid sick leave violations (36), tree trim requests (26)—barely register by comparison. Permits fell sharply, from 38 to 13, and their total value dropped 45% to $1.8 million. Most of those were express permits (11). Violent crime dipped 20%, from 30 incidents to 24, though overall crime ticked up 14% to 136. Six food establishments failed inspection, triple May's count. No new businesses opened or closed.
