North Park service requests jump 39%, led by lead test kits
Service requests in North Park climbed to 390 in January, up from 281 the month before. Sixty-five of those were for water lead test kits—the neighborhood's most common request. Pothole complaints followed with 53. Permit value dropped 61%, from $653k to $253k, even though the number of permits dipped only slightly (10 to 8). Six of the eight permits went through the city's express program. Violent crime fell from 22 incidents to 16. Overall crime ticked up from 75 to 80.
