Near West Side permit value falls to $16.3M
The Near West Side issued 101 permits in September, down from 164 the month before. Total value dropped from $57.7 million to $16.3 million. Fifty-four permits came through the express program—more than half the month's total. Another 22 covered renovations or alterations, and two were for new construction. The rest: signs, elevator equipment, and other work.
