Permit dollar volume fell sharply in February, from $627k the month prior to roughly $112k, even as the count ticked up from four to six. Four of those were express permits. Seven new businesses registered, including El Pueblito Abarrotes & Ice Cream and a CVS Pharmacy location that picked up both retail food and package goods licenses. Violent crime rose from four incidents to seven. Residents filed 94 pothole complaints, nearly triple the next-highest 311 category. One food inspection failed.
