Montclare added 31 new business licenses in February, up from four in January. O. G's Food & Liquor picked up three licenses (tobacco, package goods, and retail food). Other openings include Mr. D's Snack Shop and Il Giardino del Dolce, Inc. Building permits rose to 10 from 7, but their total value fell 84% to $458k—down from $2.9 million the prior month. Service requests dropped 25% to 283, led by blue recycling cart calls and abandoned vehicle complaints. Crime held at 44 incidents, 12 of them violent. Two food places failed inspections.
