Montclare logs five food inspection failures
Five Montclare establishments failed health inspections in January, up from one in December. Permits dropped to three (all express permits, totaling $30,700) from seven the prior month. Service requests jumped 53 percent to 299, led by 39 abandoned vehicle complaints. Violent crime fell by half to five incidents, and overall crime dropped 29 percent to 25 cases. No new business licenses were issued.
