McKinley Park permit value rises despite fewer projects
McKinley Park pulled nine permits in April, three fewer than March, but their combined value climbed 4% to roughly $1.02 million. Renovation work led the way with three permits. Residents called in 689 service requests, down slightly from 730, with graffiti removal topping the list at 212 complaints. Violent crime dropped 27%, from 22 incidents to 16. Total crime held flat at 68. Food inspection failures fell from three to one. No new businesses registered and none closed.
