Lower West Side permit value jumps to $2.8 million
Lower West Side logged 30 permits in March, up from 21 the month before. Total value hit $2.8 million, a 74% climb from February's $1.6 million. Most of the activity came through the express permit program—17 of the 30—with another eight for renovations or alterations. Three new construction permits rounded out the list. No new businesses opened, and the other metrics stayed flat.
