Lower West Side permit value jumps to $15 million
Permit valuations in Lower West Side more than doubled in July, hitting $15 million compared to $6.9 million the month before. The neighborhood issued 43 permits, up slightly from 40. Most came through the express permit program (21 permits), followed by renovation work (14 permits) and five new construction permits. No new businesses opened or closed during the month.
