The Loop logged 404 graffiti removal requests in March—nearly four times the next category, potholes at 108. Permits held steady at 169, but construction value dropped 22% to $75 million. Express permits accounted for 100 of those, followed by 38 renovations. Crime climbed 18% to 718 incidents, with violent offenses up 22% to 152. Food inspection failures jumped from four to nine. No new businesses opened or closed.
