Loop permit value doubles to $76M in January
Loop construction permits jumped 84% in value from December, hitting $76 million across 212 permits. Most of that came through 143 express-program permits—a streamlined process for simpler jobs—plus 42 renovation or alteration permits. Elevator work accounted for another 25 permits. The permit count itself rose 37% month-over-month. No new business licenses or closures showed up in the data this month.
