Logan Square permit value drops 77% to $3.7M
Permit volume in Logan Square fell 22% in December, but the real story is the dollar figure—$3.7 million, down from nearly $16 million the month before. More than half the permits (23 of 45) were express program jobs, typically smaller-scale work. Ten renovation permits and six sign permits rounded out the activity. No new business licenses showed up in the data, and three new construction permits hint at something underway but didn't move the needle much on total value.
