Logan Square issued 84 permits in October, up a third from September's 63. Nearly all the added activity came through the express permit program, which handled 46 jobs. Total permitted work was valued at $7.1 million, roughly flat with the prior month. Renovation and alteration permits accounted for 19 of the total, followed by six sign permits and five new construction pulls. No new businesses registered or closed during the month.
