Lake View permit value jumps to $39M on construction work
Permit values in Lake View shot up 233% in August, hitting $39.3 million compared to $11.8 million the month before. The neighborhood pulled 115 permits, up nine from July. More than half—55 permits—came through the express program, while 24 covered renovations and 11 were for new construction. Six demolition permits also cleared. The big dollar figures suggest at least one major project, though the breakdown doesn't reveal which address drove the spike.
