Lake View permit value doubles on $26.4M total
Lake View's permit value nearly doubled in November, hitting $26.4 million despite 30 fewer permits issued than the month before. The bulk came through express permits (32 issued) and renovation work. Service requests dropped 10%, led by 187 calls about yard waste and 168 tree-trim requests. Crime fell at about the same rate—502 incidents, down from 559, with violent offenses down 20%. Eight food establishments failed inspections, four fewer than October. No new business licenses or closures showed up in the data.
