Kenwood permit value crashes to $2.1M from $7.9M
Kenwood's 23 June permits brought $2.1 million in declared work, down 73% from May's $7.9 million. Fifteen were express permits; six covered renovations. Crime climbed 26%, with violent offenses up 32% to 62 incidents. The 311 system took 351 requests, an 18% drop. Tree trim requests led at 37 calls, even though the city stopped accepting that category. Potholes drew 22 complaints; rat baiting got 18.
