Kenwood logs $112k in permits, mostly express work
Kenwood pulled nine permits in April totaling $112,000, all of it new activity after a quiet March. Seven were express permits; two covered elevator equipment. No new businesses opened or closed. Residents filed 337 service requests, led by 98 tree-trim asks (a category the city no longer accepts). Building violations came in second with 27. Police recorded 134 crimes, 38 of them violent. One food establishment failed inspection.
