Humboldt Park permits hit $9.8M, led by express work
Humboldt Park logged 40 building permits in May worth $9.8 million, up slightly from April's $9.6 million despite four fewer permits. More than half the activity—21 permits—came through the city's express program, which fast-tracks smaller jobs. Nine renovation projects and five each of demolition and new construction rounded out the month. No new business licenses showed up in the data, and 311 requests weren't available for the period.
