Humboldt Park permits drop by half
Humboldt Park pulled 27 permits in August, down from 54 the month before. Dollar value fell to $2.7 million from $5.5 million. Most of the month's permits—17 out of 27—came through the city's express program, which handles smaller jobs. Seven went to renovations or alterations, two reinstated previously revoked permits, and one covered new construction.
