Hermosa issued just five permits in February, down from eight, but their combined value hit $3.06 million—roughly 15 times the prior month's $187k. New businesses included Bryn Mawr Breakfast Club (both liquor and food licenses), Pasteleria Aure, and GC Roofing. Service requests climbed 43% to 502, led by 107 graffiti removal calls. Crime rose as well: 78 incidents, 25 of them violent, both up more than half from January. Two food establishments failed inspections.
