Hegewisch adds 25 new businesses, including Doreen's Pizzeria

Crime reports climbed 54 percent to 80 incidents, with violent offenses up slightly to 21. Permit value dropped 76 percent to $73,100—all 14 permits came through the express program. Residents filed 222 service requests, down 29 percent, led by 23 complaints about broken streetlights. Two food establishments failed inspections.
