Permits dropped from 42 to 27 in September, but their total value climbed 42% to roughly $3.8 million. Most of that was express permits—17 of the 27—plus seven renovation jobs. Service requests fell by half, down to 1,076, with rodent complaints (148) still topping the list. Crime dropped 26% to 153 incidents, and violent crime slid from 54 to 40.
