Service requests shot up more than a third in March, reaching 1,200. Tree trim requests topped the list at 128, followed by graffiti removal (117) and pothole complaints (113). Violent crime climbed 46% to 51 incidents, while overall crime rose 41%. Permits increased to 24, though their total value dropped 22% to about $659k. Express permits accounted for all but two of the month's filings. No new businesses opened and no restaurants failed inspection.
