Garfield Ridge pulled 30 permits in December, up from 21 the month before, though total value fell 36% to $917k. Twenty-four permits came through the express program. No new businesses opened or closed. Service requests climbed 8% to 943, led by 179 tree trim requests and 159 graffiti removals. Violent crime dropped 44%, from 57 incidents to 32. Four food inspections failed, double November's count.
