Gage Park issued just five permits in October, down from 15 the month prior, with total construction value falling to $76k from $325k. Three permits came through the express program. Violent crime rose 34%, from 50 incidents to 67, while overall crime ticked up 13% to 203 cases. Graffiti removal requests led 311 calls at 268, followed by 101 abandoned vehicle complaints. Four restaurants failed inspections, double the previous month's count.
