Forest Glen doubles new business licenses to 12
Forest Glen picked up 12 new business licenses in February, double the prior month's six. Villa Rosa Pizza Kitchen and 1st Hunan Spring opened on the retail food side; Mosquito Joe, Five Star HVAC Services, and six others joined the regulated-business roster. Permit value rose 17% to $611k even though permit count fell from 15 to 12—most were express-program jobs. Service requests dropped 24% overall, but tree-trim requests (88) and pothole complaints (50) still topped the list. Crime held at 29 incidents; violent offenses climbed from four to six.
