Englewood logs 12 new licenses, Exxon Mobile among them
Englewood added 12 business licenses in March, up from one in February. Exxon Mobile registered for tobacco, a filling station, and retail food. Save A Lot got a retail food license. Permits climbed from 21 to 25, but their dollar value dropped 51 percent—$2.9 million versus $6 million the month prior. Service requests jumped 68 percent to 1,000, with 106 tree trim requests leading the categories. Violent crime rose 13 percent to 138 incidents. Food inspection failures went from five to zero.
