Permit value in East Side fell from $479k to $144k in December, a 70% drop. The neighborhood issued nine permits, down from 14 the month before. Seven were through the express program. Service requests ticked up 8.5% to 423, led by 43 calls for garbage cart maintenance and 38 reports of street lights out. Thirty-three requests asked for removal of dibs—objects marking shoveled parking spots. Crime dropped 16% to 106 incidents. No businesses opened or closed. One food inspection failed.
