Dunning permit value drops 81% to $483k
Dunning's 17 permits in December added up to $483k, down sharply from November's $2.6 million. Thirteen were quick express permits; the rest scattered across demo, renovation, new construction, and elevator work. No new businesses opened or closed. Violent crime fell 25% to 30 incidents. Service requests dipped slightly to 906, led by abandoned vehicle complaints (112) and blue cart requests (95). Winter showed up: 70 calls about dibs removals, 48 for ice and snow. Food inspection failures jumped from two to five.
