Dunning violent crime up 47%, three food fails
Violent crime in Dunning jumped from 30 incidents in July to 44 in August, a 47% climb. Overall crime fell 8%, dropping from 131 to 121. Permits slipped from 30 to 27, though total value rose 4% to $719k; 22 of the 27 were express permits. The neighborhood logged 1,495 service requests, up 3% from July. Rodent baiting complaints topped the list at 176, followed by 113 abandoned vehicle reports. Three food establishments failed inspections, up from one the month prior.
