Dunning violent crime up 47% despite lower permit value
Dunning's permit value dropped 83% in December to $427k, down from $2.5M the month before, even though permit count rose 56% to 28. Most were express permits. Violent crime jumped 47% to 47 incidents. Overall crime was up 9% to 133 reports. Service requests fell 9% to 755, led by garbage cart issues and abandoned vehicle complaints. Four food establishments failed inspections after none the prior month.
