Douglas permit value jumps to $18.6 million
Douglas logged $18.6 million in permit value this August, up from $752,000 the month before. The 13 permits included three for new construction and five through the express program. Renovation work accounted for four more. No new businesses opened, no 311 requests came in, and the other usual categories sat at zero. A dramatic uptick in construction dollars, but otherwise a quiet stretch.
