Clearing permit value jumps 90% on $1.67M total
Clearing pulled six permits in February worth $1.67 million combined, nearly double January's $879k despite four fewer permits overall. Three came through the express program; the rest covered signs, new construction, and elevator work. Crime dropped a third to 70 incidents, with violent offenses down 47% to 17. Rodent complaints led 311 activity at 135, followed by 80 reports of dead traffic signals and 74 potholes. No new businesses opened or closed.
