Chicago Lawn permits jump to $1.1M on express work
Chicago Lawn issued 35 permits in June, worth $1.14 million—up 72% from May's $659,000. Twenty-one of the permits came through the express program. Six sign permits and six renovation permits accounted for most of the rest. One wrecking permit also went out. No new businesses opened, and no 311 service requests were logged.
