Chicago Lawn permit value jumps to $3 million
Chicago Lawn logged $3 million in building permits in September, up 64% from August's $1.8 million. Permit count rose to 43 from 32. Thirty of those were express permits, the streamlined fast-track process. Eight renovation or alteration permits rounded out the bulk of activity. No new business licenses appeared in the data, and the neighborhood had a quiet month otherwise.
