Brighton Park permit value halves to $1.2M
Brighton Park issued 17 permits in April, two more than March, but their combined value dropped 51% to $1.24 million. Twelve were express permits; two covered new construction. Ten businesses opened, including Pro Sudz Laundromat and Sputnik Coffee Company. Crime fell sharply—113 incidents versus 170 the month before, violent offenses down 38%. Graffiti removal led 311 requests with 318, more than twice the pothole complaints at 143. Service requests overall were down 13%.
