Bridgeport permit value triples to $3.7 million
Bridgeport pulled the same number of permits in June as May—29—but their total value jumped 269% to $3.7 million. Most were express permits (21), though a couple of new construction jobs helped pad the tab. Service requests ticked up 4% to 1,155, led by 232 graffiti removal calls. Violent crime fell by a third, down to 35 incidents. Four food establishments failed inspections, double May's count.
