Bridgeport permit volume up 45%, total value drops by half
Bridgeport issued 42 permits in April, up from 29 the month before. But the total dollar value fell 45% to $1.2 million, down from $2.1 million in March. Most of the activity came through the express permit program—27 of the 42 permits—which tends to cover smaller-scale work. Nine permits were for renovations or alterations. No new businesses opened and no 311 requests were logged during the month.
